A sprawling to nearly erect perennial with a thick fleshy tap-

Inflorescence: Flowers blue or blue purple, veined yellow or white, 20mm across; sepals large to 15mm, with retrorse eglandular hairs, mucro 2mm, flower buds oval, not furry. Foveole usually eglandular, with 0-
Distribution: Australia; mostly western Australia but eastwards to Ayer’s Rock, and Lake Gillies in South Australia.
Synonyms: E. angustilobum Carolin -
associated distinctive character, and consequently E. angustilobum is now considered a synonym of E. cygnorum.
