This is a slender prostrate dioeceous perennial


Leaves with oblong, laxly 2-3-pinnatisect, 2-4cm long. Lacinae are narrowly oblong, adpressed pilose.

Inflorescence: flowering stems are glandular-puberulent and pilose, with 2-4 slender peduncles. Flowers are small, sepals are 3-4mm, with a very short mucro, petals are 2x sepals, white. Beak is slender 2.5cm.


Distribution: Found in earthy patches on rocky northern slopes of  Kara Dag at 2900m, in Province Hakkiari, southeastern Türkiye. Appears to be closely related to E. sosnowskianum from neighbouring Armenia and Northern Iraq (Kurdistan)
