Weedy annual.


Leaves: Leaves divided, leaflets entire to pinnatipartite


Inflorescence: Flowers pink, petals narrow obovate, unmarked; staminodes glabrous; stamen filaments glabrous; pollen yellow; stigma green-yellow


Fruit: rostrum 4-6cm; mericarp 5-6mm; foveole eglandular, with a furrow less than half the width of the foveole. 2n=60 Guitt.


Distribution: endemic to Libya on red limestone rocks.


Notes: close to E. praecox, but the two have fertility barriers.
