Erodium paui Sennen
Perennial herb.
Leaves 1.5-3 cm, oblong, pinnate, somewhat greyish on both surfaces, densely covered with mostly glandular hairs. Leaflets ovate, pinnatipartite, with ultimate segments lanceolate or linear-lanceolate; petiole densely hairy, short; stipules and bracts whitish.
Inflorescence: Umbels of 3-5 flowers; bracts lanceolate to ovate, slightly pubescent; peduncles 3-8 cm, sepals 6-10mm, densely hairy, glandular or eglandular; petals broadly ovate, 12mm; violet, the upper two larger and with a blackish basal patch.
Fruit: Rostrum 25-30 mm; mericarps 5-7 mm; foveoles densely glandular, without furrow at base.
Distribution: Pico Humion (Burgos), northern Spain.
